One potential solution
Justice dealt to the supernatural and a universe with stuff to do, but no suffering.
Alternative viewpoint
There is no external god, all is One, we are all "god." The main con of religion is to fool you into thinking you aren't good enough and the fictitious need to prove oneself.
But the problem remains
Suffering sucks!
If the alternative viewpoint is correct
Making the most of this imperfect realm - if no god is going to show up and face justice and fix things, then we need to adjust to that.
Either way, WTF are we supposed to do?
The only two things you can.
Cope and make the most of it.
